Matt and I both ran races today. He ran the half marathon and I ran the quarter. He finished in 2:12 (10-minute miles) and was happy enough with his time. He faded a little at the end, which disappointed him.
I ran the quarter in 55:51. I finished 9th out of 63 in my age group, 45th out of 492 women overall and 155/850+ runners total. I'm happy with my performance and time. I'm already on the lookout for a 10K to run. I'm still not ready for a half marathon, but I might get there.

Thank you. I was hoping to run the half originally, but I'll take the quarter for now. All runners got medals and Owen has been wearing mine ever since I crossed the finish line.
